Every year, about half of our LLM students choose to stay at the Mile End campus, qqmul the other half choose private accommodation across London and outside the city. LLM Academic support – School of Law
Induction dssertation will be held over a two-week period from Tuesday 17 September until Friday 27 September. Your fellow students will come from the UK and more than 80 other countries, each able to draw on prior academic and in many cases professional experiences from different jurisdictions to enrich discussion and debate in class.
January exams and semester 1 coursework submission take place during these weeks. They will normally be able to change your programme of study for you, so that you can enrol on the correct LLM programme.
Our experience is that students find writing a dissertation hugely rewarding.
LLM Academic support
If you hold a recognised legal professional qualification from another jurisdiction you may be eligible to take the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test QLLT. The School of Law requires all applicants to postgraduate programmes to provide one relevant qmull for their course of study to verify that they are suitable for the course and a suitable student for QMUL.
Sessions are also provided to support dissertation writing.
During this period you will be attending lectures and tutorials. You should still apply and provide a transcript of degree marks achieved so far.
